Practical and proven self-defence training to nurture stress-free independence
Krav Maga is an effective self-defence system that helps kids learn about personal safety. Students develop situational awareness and learn to use quick and efficient techniques to avoid and exit dangerous situations.
All lessons are curriculum-based. Your child will learn to apply critical skills under stress in an age-appropriate manner:
Stances: Stay aware with eyes up and hands up
Blocking: Avoid getting struck by people and objects
Striking: Palm strikes, punches, kicks, knees, and elbows
Target Zones: Strike for maximum efficiency
Scenario specific: Appropriate and effective self-defence training against known assailants, strangers, and schoolmates
Attire: Comfortable athletic wear - no uniform required!

Kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a fun and competitive grappling sport. Students learn respect and resilience by being good training partners to each other while taking personal responsibility for their own performance.

Takedowns & wrestling
Positions & pinning
Escapes & reversals
Submissions
Understanding the point system for competition
Live grappling
After 6 months of training, students are encouraged to join the competition team and participate in local Ontario BJJ tournaments (optional).
Attire: BJJ Gi (uniform).
